Local campaigns run on small contributions from neighbours: signs, flyers, and a lot of shoe leather. Here's how to contribute.

Please include your full name and home address with any contribution. Campaign finance rules require it for receipts.

Know the rules

Contributions to municipal campaigns in Ontario are governed by the Municipal Elections Act:

Only individuals normally resident in Ontario may contribute. Corporations and unions may not.
Contributions are accepted only during the official campaign period.
One person may contribute a maximum of $1,200 to this campaign.
Every contribution is receipted; contributions above the legislated threshold are publicly disclosed in the campaign's financial filing.
